Cloudster #73

Well, I have completed our taxes and cold is much better so it is time to think about a color scheme for the Cloudster. I have ordered and received four rolls of MicroLite covering in four transparent colors: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. James Lollar and Jack Hiner has indicated that these Speed 400 models get pretty small at the end of the allocated 3-minute motor run. This means that a pilot will need all of the visual cues that can be derived from a multi-color scheme. I have put together a strawman color scheme shown below based on white silking the fuselage and using transparent Red, Green, and Yellow as shown below. Somehow I did not think transparent Blue would be good visual color. Now that I look at the strawman below, it may look a little too busy. The Cloudster does resemble a full size aircraft, but the color scheme looks more like a kid's color book! I would appreciate any comments or suggestions you might want to provide me.....................Tandy
