I did not get much done on the Sailplane today,
but I did do a little. I glued in the two 1/8" elevator root ribs as shown
below. Notice the 1/16" gap spacer that was inserted between the root ribs
and the fixed portion of the stab.
The other thing I got accomplished was to cut out
and glue in place the stab tip doublers on top of the stab as shown below.
The purpose of the doubler is to add thickness to the tip structure for
trimming and contouring it...............Tandy
