Goldberg "Gas Bird" Construction Project Session #12

In this session I mounted the stab assembly to the fuselage.  In the first picture you can see that I flattened the longerons in order to mount the stab assembly.

Next, I glued everything in place and cut out some 1/8" filler pieces to fill the area between the front of the stab and the fuselage.  Once I had it filled and mounted, I glued in the rudder.  After everything was glued in place, I added a little balsa colored filler, which will be sanded away when dry leaving a nice smooth joint ready for covering.
